About me
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), University of Cambridge, working with Professor Raymond E. Goldstein FRS.
I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong in 2025, under the supervision of Professor Alan C. H. Tsang. During my doctoral research, I studied the swimming, navigation, and collective dynamics of biological microswimmers, with a particular focus on algal motility and phototaxis in Chlamydomonas and Volvox.
More recently, my research has expanded toward morphogenesis and growth-induced shape transitions in multicellular algal colonies such as Gonium, where simple biological systems provide a tractable platform for studying the mechanics of shape formation.
If you are interested in my research or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
